The political and public policy landscape is ever changing and the impact of legislative and regulatory decisions made in Washington and in state capitals across the nation are felt throughout the health care system. Society leaders will discuss the current hot topics in Public Policy and Advocacy efforts, and share methods for participant engagement in making a difference.
Learning ObjectivesThe participant will be able to describe current Public Policy and Advocacy efforts of the WOCN Society and why these initiatives influence care and support professional practice.
