The WOC nurse is critical in the prevention and management of peristomal skin complications (PSC). Peristomal skin complications are common and have an impact on more than just the patient, but also to your practice and the healthcare system. Please join Jan Colwell and Gary Inglese as they reveal the first double-blinded, multi-center, international, randomized, controlled trial (RCT) on ostomy skin barriers. Understand how you can be proactive in your practice to impact clinical outcomes utilizing a ceramide infused skin barrier now backed by science and clinical evidence. This is more than just symposia- it’s a movement. Get involved!
